Međimurje okuplja stručnjake na treningu za održivo upravljanje turizmom
U Svetom Martinu na Muri, od 23. do 25. listopada 2023. održat će se prvi Green Destinations Regional Training Event na svijetu. Tijekom tri dana događaj će okupiti domaće i inozemne turističke stručnjake i istaknute dionike koji će najbolje prakse i razmišljanja o održivosti podijeliti s okupljenim sudionicima kroz panel rasprave, predavanja i interaktivne radionice.
Događaj se po prvi put održava u Hrvatskoj, i to upravo u Međimurskoj županiji, u organizaciji globalne neprofitne organizacije Green Destinations, tvrtke koja je njihov zastupnik u Hrvatskoj Tourism Lab i Turističke zajednice Međimurske županije.
Za destinaciju u kojoj će se održati Green Destinations Regional Training Event, Međimurje je odabrano upravo iz razloga što je prva regija u Hrvatskoj koja je procijenjena održivom destinacijom te nagrađena srebrnom medaljom. To priznanje ne samo da je od velike važnosti za Međimurje, već i za cijelu Hrvatsku, s obzirom na da je Međimurje četvrta održiva regija u svijetu.
Važnost ekskluzivnog training eventa u Međimurju prepoznali su Hrvatska turistička zajednica, koja je pokrovitelj događanja, kao i Predstavništvo Europske komisije u Hrvatskoj.
